a nursery rhyme for violent times

blood

hack and kill

a poem by punkie

Hack and Kill went up the hill

To see whom they might slaughter.

Just for kicks they fired their sticks

Amidst a bunch of squatters.

They all dropped dead in pools of red

As fast as Hack could shoot them.

Kill cheered him on, and sang a song

Of blood and guts and mayhem.

“Yo kids,” Hack said, “it’s cool being dead.”

Kill nodded her assent.

“So grab your guns, let’s have some fun,

And waste those who dissent.”
