another, another day
I was inspired after sharing an anonymous poem entitled “another day” to write my own on the same theme. Here it is:
another, another day

another, another day
another day the sun comes up
another day it sets
another day the gambler pays
the interest on his debts
another day the sky is blue
another day it rains
another day I find a way
to cope with constant pain
another day i live to breathe
another i breathe to live
another day i will receive
more joy than what i give
another day i miss you near
another we’re connected
another day i see myself
in nature’s peace reflected
another day the end comes soon
another goes on forever
another day when we’re apart
i dream of being together
another day the sun goes down
another day it rises
another day i learn i should
embrace life’s new surprises
