illusions: the adventures of a reluctant messiah

Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah, by Richard Bach, is one of my four favourite books. The others are The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho (I have a signed copy), The Sirens of Titan, by Kurt Vonnegut Jr., and Pookie, a children’s book by Ivy Wallace, which was read to me countless times as a child, and which, strangely enough, is uncannily like my own life story. Interestingly, all four of these books are what I would describe as fantasies.

I began reading Illusions to someone I love, someone who is not in my life as I write this (maybe just for now, maybe for this lifetime, maybe forever. Who knows how destiny will unfold?).

As I had already recorded several chapters, and was enjoying my umpteenth reading of the book, I thought why not continue to share the instalments on amazingsusan.com?
