Adventure, Humour, Motorcycles, Writing

stop it already!

Enough is enough LOL 😛

sure this one’s my last
claims the crazy hai vu
as he gathers together
a new motley crew

they come from afar
and travel from near
dressed in their woolies
and layers of gear

they heat up their gloves
their foot pegs and handles
warm their bikes in a circle
round six scented candles

then they rip through the city
in a group they do forage
defiant, unwilling
to put their rides into storage

one wears a helmet
of a deep yellow hue
another’s is red
with dreads in full view

they speed and they swerve
take pictures at signs
fancy themselves
super heroes at times

the rest of us watch
with envious eyes
trying our best
to stifle our cries

they rev up their engines
roll on the throttle
torture us viewers
make us reach for the bottle

our rides are in sheds
covered and sleeping
so we sit in these chairs
despondent and weeping

stop faking finales
oh crazy hai vu
free us from wanting
to take one last cruise!
