You Don’t Have To Be Muslim To Wear #PINK Hijab
Breast cancer knows no religious, racial, ethnic or national boundaries.
Millions of women and increasingly large numbers of men suffer its dread effects. The same is true of all disease, war, and disaster.
We must stand together as sisters and brothers around the world, fighting against that which is evil and dark in our world, so we can celebrate as one family that which is good and pure and light.
I'm pleased to join Muslim sisters around the world today and for the rest of Breast Cancer Awareness month by wearing this beautiful #PINK hijab.
I do so in the hope that one day we will find a cure for this terrible disease that has robbed so many women and men of the long lives that might have lived without its ravages.
