Adventure, Joy, Motorcycles

this was more like it :)

Thanks to a quick tube change by Richmond Motorsports and the support of James A., I was back on the road Friday afternoon after the flat on Thursday.

I was then able to enjoy a weekend of great riding in the Highlands.

This was Saturday:

I was committed to a volunteer gig on Sunday afternoon after which I went out for what I thought would be a short solo run. Wouldn’t you know it? I randomly ran into James A. and Adam Lewis just outside of Pakenham. It was a scary ride home after dusk, but I made it – phew!

Today, Monday, October 21 (yes, my weekends include Mondays and all the rest of the days of the week for that matter lol), I rode a solo loop through what I can only describe as a spectacular autumn day full of stunning colours and wonderful Ride the Highlands roads. It’s hard to pick a favourite but the bits going in and out of Crow Lake have a piece of my heart…

I can’t remember the last time I had to stop at a train crossing. This afternoon, however, I got two trains for the price of one during a fifteen-minute delay in Tichborne, ON. Captured in video snippets in the Relive  below…

Can’t wait to see what adventures tomorrow holds….
