word song
To anyone who thinks they can convince, cajole and/or connive me into singing, please pay attention: I don’t sing in public. Point finale.
The only exceptions are Happy Birthday and the national anthem. Trying to get me to sing otherwise is a waste of time and energy – it ain’t gonna happen.
Ever LOL 🙂
I feel the same way about being told I can/could/should sing as I do about getting unsolicited advice. Not good.
So.
let me take the pictures
i will write the words
expecting me to harmonize
is simply this: absurd!

Read here:
my singing is silent
it lacks catchy tunes
it’s tapped on a keyboard
by the light of the moon
it requires no one other
than myself, me and i
and words that are free
like birds in the sky
no need for music
notes, or a score
makes those who ‘listen’
want to read more
no drums, no pianos
no bass plucking time,
my secrets and magic
live in rhythm and rhyme
this voice will be heard
long after we’re gone
when an echo is all
that remains of the dawn
