Is This Site Sexist?

Last night I had the good fortune and fun to join James Piecowye on Nightline (8 – 10 p.m. weeknights on Dubai Eye 103.8).

He, like several other men I’ve met over the last several weeks, suggested that perhaps it was a bit sexist to have a site devoted solely to celebrating, motivating and inspiring women – what about the men? they say.

"It’s 2008, is a website like this really needed – it spanks of feminism!" said James, playing devil’s advocate.

amazingwomenrock.com isn’t about taking anything away from men. It’s about giving more to women. Is that sexist? I don’t know – what do you think?
