After Ron Martin and I exchanged Facebook comments on the nature of beauty and the merits (or lack thereof) of ‘enhancing’ images, I visited his profile page where I found a delightful illustration that immediately caused a poem to compose itself in my head.
Funny how that happens.

a distant beach

to the floor,
i’ll practice on
